My Daughter Practicing Violin

My daughter decided she wants to play violin.  Here she is practicing her 20 minutes a day.  The school offered to teach her for free and we accepted.  She already has a good foundation from piano lessons and easily reads music.  Now she must learn the notes on the violin.

Wine Tasting in VA

Today we went wine tasting around central Virginia with long time friends.  We started at Keswick Vineyard, stopped at Jefferson Vineyard and finished at Albermarle CiderWorks.  Then we were off to dinner at Hollymeade.

Wife and Daughter on Humpback Rock

Went hiking today to Humpback Rock which is on the blue ridge Parkway just south of 64.  It was a perfect day for hiking.
